As a salesperson at Granite Logistics, you will develop and manage a base of accounts while working in a team environment. Business is generated through mostly inside phone sales by way of prospecting and referrals. Attract and retain qualified shippers. Negotiate rates with shippers. Accurately enter and record all details of shipments. Collaborate with the operations team. Provide service updates to customers. Be honest and proactive in your communication to customers.What we need from you: Honesty, integrity, trustworthiness. Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel and Word among others).
